My Small World Quilt Class
An adventure for sure.....a beautiful cityscape quilt or wall hanging with personal expression.  Begin gathering the many backgrounds and a favorite variety of colors with special peek a boo fabrics or fussy cut fabrics for this beauty.  Its a perfect wall size or you can frame or join with other blocks to make into a full size quilt.

The quilt size is approx 36 x 52 for the wall hanging size.  A book is required for the class, if you need to purchase.

Meanwhile start setting aside those scraps of low volume fabrics and bright, bold fat quarters.  Jen Kingwell did make a collection of fabrics called "Gardenvalle" and more, which is also available and perfect for the quilt with some to spare.  I found as I was making this quilt that it was important to me to create 'My (Bev) Small World' so I added fabrics that reflect me - keep this in mind when you are choosing your fabrics.  For the many choices of color, you will want to collect Fat Sixteens or Fat Eights as we will use small quantities.  For the color choices you may want to choose tones, small prints for constructed pieces and use prints/designs for the applique units.  For the backgrounds, try to choose as least 4-8 light backgrounds, you can also add slight blues or greys or yellows for the sky.

Blessings, Bev
